Followed the tip steps with Adjustment Layer/channel mixer.

We absolutely love this submission. Flowers are quite a conundrum for black and white photographers – even though they are colourful they still look great in black and white. The patterns help, especially the regularity of petals.

The high contrast looks good. The tip steps Linda is referring to can be found here.

I disagree with av, I think the fact that it is not instantly recognisable is good.

It makes you look a little more at the photo, makes it more interesting.

I think his (her?) comment about anyone could do that is a bit harsh. Sure, anyone could do that, but a most folks don't.
