Taken with my optio s7 digital camera I cropped the image to make it more dramatic.

(Moved here from the digital photography tutor submission page.)
I really like this composition. The straight birch trees across the photo - almost like a zebra.

The composition is simple, and the colours simple too - perfect for black and white photography!

I think the crop has really worked well here. Removing any distractions from the photo to leave only vertical trunks.
