Nikon Coolpix 900
My first digital camera was a Nikon Coolpix 900. The thing I liked about it was that it swivelled. The lens part and the camera part were sort of separate. I don't know if it did much for my photos, but I thought it was cool!
I took it everywhere when I first got it (in about 2000 I think). I even took it to the Amazon Rainforest, and ti came back without a scratch!
I traded it in in about 2003/4, when I bought my first DSLR (Canon Digital Rebel).
Don't know where it is now, or if it still exists!
The Nikon Coolpix 900 was first released at the end of 1998, and was fairly unusual (though not unique) in having a swivelling lens design.
It had 1.3 megapixels, and a 3x zoom lens.
