Wahington's Scout

by Mort Metersky
(Warminster, PA)

Washington's Scout

Washington's Scout

This image was taken on a tripod with a Nikon N-75, 18-200mm Tamron lens, using slide film, about 7 years ago.

Every Christmas day, a group of reenactors puts on Washington's crossing of the Delaware River, a decisive action in the winning of the Revolutionary War.

The portrait is of the scout Washington used in his military maneuvers.

I was using Fuji Velvia 35 mm film. Many years later I transferred my "good" slides to digital format. This was one of them.
