Pinyon Pine

by Jolene
(USA)

This was from my most recent trip to Zion National Park in Utah.

I love that there is this funny little tree growing out of the red rock. Something from nothing; and life will find a way comes to mind when I see it :)

We get quite a few submissions from Utah – and they are all excellent! There really must be something about the region that lends itself to photography.

It's nice to see the tree set against a wonderful blue sky, and the red tones of the rock beneath it. It seems lonely somehow – sat up there all on its own.

Thanks Jolene for sharing it with us.
