PATIENCE

by ANDREW COURT
(JOHANNESBURG SOUTH AFRICA)

This shot was taken at a river in South Africa just before a Bass Tournament.

It was cold, very cold and anglers were hanging about waiting for the start. The original shot was much wider but lacked upper 1/3 detail so I cropped it to try and emphasize the focal area more.

I liked the shot because of the depth and mysteriousness of the setting with the figures patiently waiting in the morning mist.
