Lost in the Woods

I saw this old manure spreader that caught my eye so I took a couple of pictures.

Then in Picasa2 I cropped it a little, turned it to B/W then darken the shadows a little. Then increased the highlight just a little.


We like this photo. The rusty old spreader is the perfect subject for black and white photography.

We like the high contrast here too - achieved by making a few adjustments in Picasa. It really helps to add some grittiness to the photo.
