Inseparable

by Annie
(Michigan)

My two rescues, Tallulah the bloodhound, and Harry the Boston terrier, are mad for each other.

Tallulah "adopted" him when I brought him home. They have been snuggling and snoring together for almost two years now.

I wanted to show how animals, even though they had terrible lives before they were rescued, can still turn out to be sweet, loving and peaceful when they are surrounded by love.

Rescue
by: Anonymous

The thrill of finding a loving home for an animal discarded by his prior owner, who had no future, no hope, is indescribable. This photo illustrates what rescue is all about.

So wonderful!!
by: JaneH

This is a great photo!

I volunteer for a local animal welfare organization and happened to stumble upon your blog because of my other interest: photography!

I am adopting a new puppy this weekend and am very pro-rescue.

A lot of people think that because an animal may have been exposed to abuse or neglect that he or she cannot be a good companion. But it isn't true, and you can certainly speak for that!!

Thanks.
