happy goodyear

by Graziano
(Italia)

It's a shame Graziano didn't tell us anything about this photo - but I had to include it as I just love it!

The perspective here is great. Graziano has got low down on the ground to get the tyres in the foreground to be a real feature.

He's then used this combined with the beaten up car to create a lead in line to the rest of the photo. And when we follow the line we get to the truck standing boldly in the background.

So what he's achieved is three layers of depth here.

Add to this a great job on converting to black and white (I'm guessing this was converted from colour to black and white as the sky shows that classic darkness that comes from a good conversion).

If you have a colour photo that you think would look good in black and white here's a turorial on converting colour photos to black and white.

Thanks for the submission Graziano and if you ever get a chance to tell us a little more about it (where was it? what were you aiming for? How did you post-process it?)we would love to hear from you!

Darrell.
