Crashed Out

by Sandy
(Danville, Kentucky)

didn't quite make it to midnight...

didn't quite make it to midnight...

Taken at the stroke of midnight here at home.

New Year's Eve celebrations for us are always low key. Just hang out at the house with snacks, music and the kids.

This year the kids (almost all grown) were busy playing video games and left us old folks alone.

Hubby fell asleep before midnight, so I took a picture to prove what a party animal he is. After I snapped this I woke him up to say Happy New Year.

awesome!

Love the work. I too love taking snaps at people when they're in their most vulnerable situation. I use my hubby as my model. Unfortunately, my camera's only compact so I can't do anything much. But what the heck, it's fun anyway. Good job at this. Love the beer too!

Brilliant!

This is by far my favourite pic of the moment! Perfect angle, and I agree that the focus on the beer bottle is the perfect touch!!

Love it!

I love it - captured 'hubby' perfectly! Looks like new year has wiped him out a bit.

I like the way you took the photo too - with the beer bottle large in shot.
